Are you one of those people who runs around all day? You wish there were more hours in the day and more days in the week to get through all the activities you have on your schedule? And even if there were, you still wouldn't have time!
I was one of those people, and every time I found a gap in my schedule, I added something else. Constantly exhausted and always forgetting something, I never had time for myself and to enjoy what I was accomplishing.
Until I realized that everyone has 24 hours a day. How is it possible that some people manage to do it and others don't? It's definitely not a matter of time.
What is important to you? To function better, to think clearly, to have peace of mind, to be able to accomplish everything necessary and much more in your day? Have you observed yourself? Do you know your limits? When do you cross them and how do you feel about it?
Of course, there are also external factors that influence our daily lives (family, friends, activities, problems). But who will care about a person's health and well-being if not the person themselves? How productive can a person be in any field when they do not have health and well-being?
It is not selfish to take care of your personal health and well-being. It is the best thing you can do for yourself and for everyone else. Neglecting your personal health and well-being, on the other hand, becomes a way of life and, in the long run, a criminal act only for you, since the choice is yours alone.
