Growing up we are called to maintain a series of schedules to properly manage our time. So the schedule of school, foreign language, sports and any other activity we want to follow necessarily invades our life, while in the meantime we squeeze in everything else we need (sleep, food, reading, entertainment, etc.)
Later as workers and members of a family we have an increasingly heavy and demanding schedule as a result of which we completely neglect nutrition, sleep, the need for support and security, even fun and entertainment.
The place of such a correct and careful baby program has been taken by the list of activities of the whole family, the list of the supermarket and expenses that increase anxiety and insecurity.
The chronic stay in stressful and unpleasant situations is, according to experts, the cause of many illnesses, both physical and mental.
And what can we do since we can't be babies again? One might ask.
We can reorganize our lists of what we really need and cram our secondary activities into the gaps.
For example:
- Daily nutrition plan for the whole family. So a list where we will alternate foods from all groups (meat, vegetables, pasta, legumes, seeds, dairy products), with antioxidant properties, vitamins and what our body needs to function properly (body and spirit).
- Exercise program. A list of exercises that we can change whenever we deem necessary. The number 1 anti-stress exercise, especially when done outdoors.
- Sleep-relaxation program. Necessary for healing the body and mind from the daily activities and thoughts that tire us and charge us negatively.
What can we achieve with all this? We can learn to take care of our body and mind, feel rested, have more energy, better mood and be more efficient in all our activities. Experts can help us make the right choices and get a better quality of life.
